Patriot Players and Kraft Family Donate $90K to PAL!

WE BELONG – Receives $90K grant from the New England Patriots Players’ Social Justice Fund!

The New England Patriots players announced this week that Boston PAL’s program – WE BELONG – is the recipient of a $90,000 grant from the Patriots Players’ Social Justice Fund. Individual players on the team donated to the fund, and every dollar was matched by the Kraft Family. “There are many organizations that do amazing work in the area of social justice,” said Patriots team captain Devin McCourty. “The goal of the social justice fund is to work together as a team to help effect change in our community by providing support to these organizations. The more you learn about the work they are doing, the more you want to support their efforts.”

WE BELONG empowers inner-city youth to be leaders of tomorrow through public service education, community service and outreach. This leadership program provides challenging experiences to high school juniors and seniors to develop leadership skills, explore future careers and become productive members of their communities.
